Staycation Ideas and Your Next Great Adventure Outdoors!

Staycation Ideas and Your Next Great Adventure Outdoors!

We’ve all got a spring in our step this April at Butler and Hill! With the beautiful spring weather, lockdowns lifting and summer around the corner we’re ready to embrace the warmer months and the great British outdoors.

From the 26th of April, we can travel between England and Scotland, with further easing of social restrictions planned from the 17th of May. This means we can begin to plan our hiking trips, caravan holidays and beach visits. Whether you’re aching to go north of the border to climb Ben Nevis, or longing for a trip to Cornwall to top up that tan, we’ll have our fingers and toes crossed that the weather holds out for you!

During this time in lockdown we’ve all missed out on some vital fresh air and vitamin D, so it’s time to dig the walking boots out from under the stairs, dust off that sunhat and get outside!

Why not commemorate your trip - future or past - with one of our national park wall maps. Our maps are printed using the UK’s most iconic outdoor mapping; the Ordnance Survey’s Landranger base. From Loch Lomond to Dartmoor, Brecon Beacons to the Lake District, you can find your favourite UK location on our site.

Our maps come laminated with a cork backing, making them ideal for planning or recording your adventures. Use pins and non-permanent pens to plan for your next trip, or create a memento of one of your favourite holidays.

It’s nearly time to get back to the sports we’ve been missing so much, and whether you go silly for surfing or crazy for climbing, our adventure maps make a great gift idea. Perhaps you’ve been missing your cycling crew - or perhaps you just fancy treating yourself! You can celebrate your hobby with one of our personalised adventure maps, printed on an address of your choice.

However you choose to spend your time in the precious spring sunshine - sunbathing or snoozing, holidaying or hiking - we wish you all the best for the coming months. Stay safe and enjoy the spring.
